Activities in Meribel
Meribel has plenty to offer non-skiers and those looking for après ski activities. Founded in 1938 by Englishman, Colonel Peter Lindsay, Meribel continues to develop around its traditional chalet style buildings and wooden Savoyarde architecture. As a result, the resort has maintained much of its picturesque charm and to this day provides a beautiful environment to relax and enjoy a coffee or vin chaud.
Family activities
Meribel provides a wide array of family activities, including an ice rink, a swimming pool with water slide, an indoor climbing wall and a bowling alley. There are also unique mountain activities suitable for children such as dog sledding and snow biking.
Nightlife
Meribel is famous for its wide range of après ski bars and pubs. Whether you are looking for a quick beer at the end of a day’s skiing or to party until the wee hours, Meribel has plenty to offer. If you like live music, there are often bands playing in the resort pubs and Meribel’s nightclubs regularly host well known international DJ’s.
Your chalet team will have up to date information about all resort activities and is available to assist with making bookings.
“ Following such a wonderful holiday with highlife last year, we had no doubt in which tour operator to use in 2008... and you come up trumps again! ”
