Guiding in Val d'Isere
The Espace Killy ski area has been described as "the world's best winter playground". Through our unique Highlife Guiding programme, we aim to show our guests as much of the fantastic terrain as possible. Chalets Jasmin and Morelle are perfectly located beside a cable car that leads to some of Val d’Isere’s best and most secluded glacier skiing.
Highlife Guiding is a complimentary service available to all our guests. You will be shown some of the highlights of the vast ski area, taking in scenic routes and varied runs during each session. It’s not all about hard work however as you will also be shown a few of our favourite mountain restaurants and après ski bars en route!
Our guiding programme in Val d’Isere has something to offer all levels of skier. Beginners can enjoy Blue circuits on beautiful tree lined pistes around the Le Fornet area itself. For intermediates, there are Red half-day sessions showcasing the best of Val d’Isere’s fantastic pistes, snow-parks, and forest runs.
Finally, for more adventurous skiers, the Espace Killy Experience is a full day tour starting in Le Fornet and winding across to the awe-inspiring Grande Motte in Tignes. The tour will cover two glaciers and reach heights of 3400m.
As always, our resort team will be happy to recommend the best guiding sessions for your level.

“Guiding was excellent idea, especially for beginners. I wouldn't have seen other parts of the mountain had it not been for guiding - too often you just stick to what you know.”
Katherine Little, Jan 04
