Professional chefs in every chalet
We passionately believe that good food is an essential ingredient of an exceptionally good ski holiday.
With professionaly trained chefs in each Highlife chalet, we are confident that you will enjoy fantastic food & wine throughout your stay.
We employ our chefs based on their ability and creativity. Rather than asking them to set menus for the season, we encourage them to use their talent and flair to produce the best variety of dishes based on the best locally sourced ingredients.
Before you travel, your Highlife holiday coordinator will gather any specific dietary requirements that you may have which means that your chef will consider suitable menus for you before you even arrive at your chalet.
The set menu is posted in the dining room of your chalet each day which gives you an opportunity to let your chef know if there is a particular dish that you would prefer not to have.
There is one day each week where your chef will not work (generally Thursdays). On this day, you will still be served a light breakfast (though hot options will not be available) and you will still enjoy homemade treats when you return from the slopes. There will however be no dinner service.
On the evening of your chef's day off, your host will gladly make restaurant recommendations and reservations. Please note that the costs of this evening are your own.
